We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help build out a resilient Kubernetes based architecture. 

We iterate quickly and release almost daily, so you’ll get to work closely with the Development team, who owns code quality, while you help shape the future of the PlexTrac API, services, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.


What You Will Do


Develop and maintain Kubernetes based architecture

Develop and maintain monitoring, metrics, logging infrastructure

Assist in developing and deploying Observability tooling


Engage with sales, marketing, customer success and other engineering teams to triage production outages and carry forward action items to improve ongoing reliability.
Develop and maintain integrations with other PlexTrac teams.
Specify solutions to real problems using data and analytics.
Adapt quickly to changes in business requirements and work in an agile environment.
Work with the entire PlexTrac team to implement and maintain security controls.


What You Bring To PlexTrac


These are some high level things we are looking for:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes

Strong knowledge of Cloudformation or Terraform

Experience with monitoring and metrics systems (for example, ELK stack, Loki, Prometheus, etc)
Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
Experience working with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud platforms.
Ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks.
Awareness about competitors and industry.
Spotting opportunities to make things better for everyone all the time - and you can develop and execute successful solutions, taking ideas from concept to reality.
Excellent communication skills and open to giving and receiving feedback.
