We are actively looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to work closely with the development teams to improve delivery velocity, integrating secure design and scalability. This role will drive implementation of new technologies with a high level of impact for internal teams and our customers. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability of infrastructure systems while driving ongoing improvements to reduce maintenance overhead and minimize technical debt.


Role Objectives:

  • Integrate secure practices into systems and product development.
  • Work with software developers to improve development and release processes.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure to support the entire product lifecycle.
  • Create documentation and training for internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy updates and fixes to the SaaS product.
  • Provide technical support for escalated issues.
  • Respond to alerts, investigate and resolve underlying issues.
  • Develop automation to improve systems management.
  • Identify monitoring gaps and implement improvements.
  • Design internal platform improvements, plan and implement changes.
  • Update wiki/readme documentation as gaps are identified or systems change.
  • Identify friction in the development process, establish technical and procedural improvements.


Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge of best-practices for implementing infrastructure as code.
  • Ability to see entire organization’s IT infrastructure needs when proposing enhancements and improvements.
  • Experience with automating and scripting changes with any popular programming language e.g. Python, Ruby, Go, etc.
